Complaint - Why does your milk go bad so quickly?

Several times when I have opened a gallon of your milk, if I dont drink it within 2 days it goes bad. This occurs even if the sell by date is 3-4 days in the future. My wife just opened a gallon of milk dated 3/12/23 and it is already bad. I feel like Im throwing away money purchasing your product. The milk was purchased in Albertsons 5105 Del Amo Blvd., Lakewood, CA

User's recommendation: Don’t buy their milk.

SOUR MILK

The last 2 times I've purchased Lucerne milk it has gone sour. The last one was 5 days before stale date. This is a half gallon down the drain. Purchased in Coquitlam, BC - I generally buy Lucerne but I am no longer confident that the milk will be good. Going forward I'm going to move to Avalon Dairy.

For year I've bought a competitors cottage cheese and just assumed like most products that it just doesn't taste as good as when I was younger. I bought your cottage cheese today. OMG!! So delicious.

No complaint. Just praise for a delicious product. So happy I found cottage cheese that tastes like I remember

User's recommendation: Best cottage cheese.

Poor quality item: Baked Chicken Tortilla Casserole

First, and last, time I purchased this. Picture looks good, but nothing like the actual product. Actual product is a brown, runny mess that MIGHT pass for low grade chili. It had no layers. I could have poured it out of the box and seen some occasional lumps of who knows what. I suggest you never consider buying this. I am attempting to get my money back as I was not100% satisfied. I was 1% satisficed.DO

User's recommendation: Do NOT buy.

PRODUCT COMPLAINT: EGG NOG (rest in peace)

Every year, I look forward to your Lucerne Egg Nog, and this year was no different. I check every day in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. I particularly look forward to your regular Egg Nog (the richness, the creaminess). Both are just fine in terms of flavor. Still delicious. But this year is different. Your regular egg nog goes down like someone dumped a cup of water into each carton. Watered-down. The consistantly is just NOT there anymore. Sure it's better than regular milk, but not egg nog. It's become more like an egg nog BEVERAGE; or blend. My first thought was to fun back to buy and experiment with adding some cream or half-and-half to restore the experience. But then it occurred to me that WHY should I have to go to the extra expense to buy an extra product to compensate for the loss, when I could just buy a product (for the same price, same flavor) other stores? Again, flavor isn't an issue for me for any of these. I understand that costs have risen. And that's a good excuse. Dairy is up. But you know what isn't? Guar Gum. But if you're saving a few pennies, please don't sacrifice quailty that is obviously obvious here with your customers. Or the tiresome, worn out "well, everybody is doing this lately. We're competitive." We don't care. You're charging more for a product that we are getting less of. As far as I'm concerned, simply adding more of something with substance (like Guar Gum), would have been a better choice. But to put it bluntly, relatively speaking, THIS IS LIKE WATER - and it feels/tastes like it. And I can only guess what to have expected had I chosen Lite. I just returned from Trader Joe's and theirs is still as expected despite their sharp price increase that now matches yours. In a nutshell, this should be a lession that I would have hoped you had learned long ago: when you try to cut corners, (for whatever reason), CUSTOMERS NOTICE. And I do. Lucerne, you can do better than this. And in fact, you HAVE done better & have done so for years - until now. Thank you for listening. Hopefully this makes any difference. ** I DO NOT AGREE TO YOUR TERMS FOR SERVICE UNDER PROTEST, I WAS ONLY ABLE TO SUBMIT THIS COMPLAINT TO YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE WITHOUT BEING HELD HOSTAGE TO AGREEING TO THEM HERE. THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT IS NOW REVOKED. NOW UNAUTHORIZED: DO NOT SELL MY INFORMATION OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTE MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE THAN INTERNALLY PROCESSING & ADDRESSING THIS SPECIFIC COMPLAINT Respectfully, //Gary

Milk goes bad. Product change.

Well, the Lucerne milk has good bad. The Jewel brand milk was Deans. Jewel dropped Deans and now gets it from Lucerne. The milk has gone bad within 4 days of opening the gallon. This is despite the best use date being almost 10 days long. My son in law works for Jewel and knows the Lucerne brand of most of the dairy products stinks. I'm either going with Kemps at Jewel or the Roundy's brand at Mariano's.

User's recommendation: Don't by Lucerne Milk.
